About Memoralise

Memoralise came about when the founder experienced the unexpected… tragic loss of a loved one. Whilst the loss was unexpected, dealing with the details leading up to the loss and afterwards is what inspired Memoralise.

The hospitalisation, subsequent incoherency and then loss of life caused a cascade of issues:

  1. The person was incoherent so that an Enduring Guardianship came into effect, however the person listed was no longer in the same region of the world nor contactable.
  2. Whilst the friend had up to date the will, no one knew who had it nor where bank accounts were held, nor how to access the Cryptocurrency accounts she had recently opened and started trading with. During the coherent periods, it was difficult to broach those subjects instead of spending special and memorable moments together.
  3. Upon death, there was a disagreement around claims against superannuation and homes as a very old will was found and the most recent one made could not be located. There were disputes about funeral plans and instructions for certain assets etc.

Whilst the death was tragic, the constant stress and dealing with an intestate estate and asset squabbles did not allow the family to properly be there and grieve together. It’s very difficult losing a loved one. It’s all that much worse when the family fights over the assets remaining.

Thus, Memoralise was borne. Memoralise solves all of the above issues and more with an easy to use, yet highly secure portal that not only stores your information but will ensure it is up to date and whilst ensuring that the right person or persons get the information that is required when the information is required.

Your information, your journey, your instructions enacted at your will.
